Anna joined the Institute of Bee Health as a doctoral student in September 2017. She received a double master degree from the University of Kiel, Germany and the University of Poitiers, France, where she studied the impacts of a pesticide and a pathogen on honeybees’ learning and memory. In her PhD research she focussed on chemical ecology of the small hive beetle (Aethina tumida Murray).
